After the major milestone at Nürburgring last June, Tutumlu and Kurdistan Racing Team expect to extend their podium streak at Oschersleben with the Spanish GT driver at the wheel of the Car Collection Motorsport-entered Audi R8 LMS Evo. Tutumlu will be paired with Dirg Parhofer in the Audi painted in Kurdistan colors.
Isaac Tutumlu will contest a second round of the DMV GTC / Dunlop series this weekend. The Spaniard of Kurdish ancestry made a strong debut in the German series at Nürburgring as he brought a podium finish home for Kurdistan Racing Team.
After achieving such a milestone, Tutumlu and Kurdistan Racing Team are set to continue their strong form at Oschersleben. Tutumlu will drive a Car Collection Motorsport-run Audi R8 LMS Evo in Kurdistan Racing Team colors and Dirg Parhofer will also repeat as his teammate in the 60-minute race held today.
“I’m looking forward to contesting my second event in the DMV GTC / Dunlop 60 with Kurdistan Racing Team. I will try to repeat our podium finish this weekend, which is within our reach as our Audi R8 LMS Evo of Car Collection Motorsport backed by Audi Sport is very competitive” explains Tutumlu. He remarks that “I discovered Oschersleben during my days in the ADAC GT Masters. It is a typical Mickey Mouse circuit, so common in the DTM or the ADAC GT Masters itself. I really like it and for sure I will be competitive. There is a forecast for rain, which it is positive as I am quite competitive in wet conditions. I will be paired with Dirg for the 60-minute race today and we have excellent prospects together. I will be driving alone in the 30-minute race on Saturday and in the same way I also feel optimistic for it. My goal is to bring more strong results for Kurdistan Racing Team.”
