Spaniard Tutumlu is ready to contest his second event in the DMV GTC under the colors of the Kurdistan Racing Team. As it was already seen on his debut at Hockenheim, Tutumlu will share the driving duties in the Car Collection Motorsport-run Audi R8 LMS with German Dimitri Parhofer and he sets himself the goal of fighting for the podium places.
Isaac Tutumlu heads to Germany for another round counting towards the DMV GTC in which the Spaniard drives a Car Collection Motorsport-entered Audi R8 LMS in Kurdistan Racing Team colors. Tutumlu will be sharing the GT3 racer with German driver Dimitri Parhofer and he aims for Nürburgring podium following a bad start to the season at Hockenheim. There, Tutumlu was hit by engine issues in his Audi and his weekend come to an end just after private testing. With a new engine, Tutumlu is looking forward to bring a podium finish home for Kurdistan Racing Team.
“Finally the long wait is over and we are ready to take part in the second round of the DMV GTC, in which we want to fight back following an unlucky season start at Hockenheim due to engine issues. But we have a new engine and that’s why we feel optimistic for Nürburgring” explains Tutumlu. The Spaniard also adds: “the Balance of Performance isn’t particularly bad for our car this time, so it’s another strong reason to be optimist coming into the weekend. I know pretty well this circuit from my participations in the International GT Open and the Porsche Supercup. It brings me back good memories and I feel we will put a good package together to secure a strong result for Kurdistan Racing Team, such as rostrum finish or a win!”
